South West Coast Path
The South West Coast path is the longest national trail in Great Britain, stretching 630 miles from Minehead in Somerset to Poole harbour in Dorset. On this walk there are world heritage sites, the Jurassic Coast and the stunning mining landscape, not to mention the sea and countryside views.

Owen Cunningham and David Mayne created the celebratory markers at Minehead and Poole Harbour, the sculptures were funded by a variety of partners and were co-ordinated by The South West Coast Path Team.

These two powerful landmarks are now a welcome sight to walkers since being placed in 2001 and 2003
